PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports.

It's a system schools use to help students feel supported and demonstrate positive behavior choices. Instead of just being a reaction, PBIS focuses on teaching kids what good behavior looks like and encouraging it. It also helps schools meet students’ emotional and social needs so everyone can learn in a safe and positive learning space. 

PBIS operates through a tiered approach, ensuring that students receive the level of support that will benefit them the most. To achieve this, we require the support of the West Community.
