Counselors use a credit audit (to the left) to track student progress!
In their senior year, each student will complete a graduation project. The graduation project is required for graduation from Perkiomen Valley High School and carries 0.5 elective credit. To meet the requirements of the graduation project, students will assemble a portfolio of eight (8) artifacts demonstrating post-secondary readiness.Â
Students will provide a short justification to accompany each artifact. The career counselor, Mrs. Kelley, will provide guidance to seniors as they complete the graduation project. Portfolios will be reviewed by the faculty of the high school in advance of graduation and rated as either pass (P) or fail (F). Students who initially fail the graduation project will be provided with feedback for revision well in advance of graduation so that they may revise their project to meet requirements.
