Many students who are gifted have difficulty finding strategies that help them to stay organized and study. Organization and study skills takes practice and a lot of frustration until you find the methods that work for you. The disorganization can be rooted in many different causes: boredom, interest, change, perfectionism. Disorganization is not always visible. Sometimes the organization skills that need improvement are mental. Thinking is a skill that needs to be taught and practiced.
