About me

I'm Dominica Tarica (duh-MIN-uh-kuh tuh-REE-kuh) and welcome to my classroom! My pronouns are she/her, and I believe strongly in an equitable and welcoming classroom for all students. I'd like to acknowledge that our campus is in the traditional and unceded territory of the Tongva tribe. This is my 12th year teaching and my fifth year in Palos Verdes. I started my career in Oakland before moving down to the "other" South Bay and I have no regrets, other than missing my pal Stomper (also pictured left, in my classroom back in Oakland).
