Krish - President
Currently a Junior in CREST Bioscience, Krish has been a member of HOSA since his freshman year, serving as the Freshman Representative, and served as Fundraising Chairperson his sophomore year. One reason he joined HOSA is because he believes that HOSA can help him learn more about the medical field and give him more opportunities to help out the community in medical-related ways. Additionally, Krish is a food allergy sufferer, and hopes to use HOSA as a means to advocate. Hoping to have a career in medicine, he would also like to use HOSA as a means to gain more medical experience. Krish has enjoyed attending HOSA conferences, competing in Cultural Diversity and Disparities in Healthcare at the State Leadership Conferences and placing in the top 10 percent for the Health Care Issues Exam at the International Leadership Conference. He has experience with speaking and communication skills as he has been giving tours at the Musical Instrument Museum for several years. In his free time, Krish is an advocate of the Food Allergy Research and Education organization (FARE), sits on the Arizona Department of Education Student Advisory Council for Superintendent Kathy Hoffman, plays the Northern Indian Hand Drums (Tabla), and plays tennis. Krish is excited to serve as the chapter’s president for the 2023-2024 school year!
Keshav - Vice President
Currently a Junior in CREST Bioscience, Keshav has been an active HOSA member since his Freshman year, but has more recently served as Parliamentarian during his Sophomore year. Keshav initially joined Hosa as an opportunity to try something new, but he quickly grew to love the friendly and educational atmosphere of the club. Keshav values his involvement as both a member and officer of the chapter because the experience has allowed him to explore his interests, develop his leadership abilities, and connect with his peers at exciting HOSA events. Some of his favorite events include the Arizona State Leadership Conference, where he has competed in Behavioral Health and Researched Persuasive Writing and Speaking, and local chapter events like Wheel of Fun and Trivia Night. Although he is still discovering his interests, he is currently passionate about neuroscience and hopes to pursue this interest further this school year in both HOSA and his academics. Outside of HOSA, Keshav volunteers at a Memory Care program for seniors with Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia and is involved in writing and research for several medical studies. Keshav plays soccer competitively and some of his favorite hobbies include running, swimming, reading, and traveling. Keshav is ecstatic to serve as the chapter Vice President for the 2023-2024 school year!
