PVHS CREST Bioscience HOSA
HOSA Future Health Professionals is an organization that encourages students to become the leaders of tomorrow in the health field. Through this organization, members learn valuable skills such as leadership, teamwork, professionalism, communication, and responsibility. Members of HOSA are given opportunities to develop their leadership skills, gain community service hours, apply for scholarships only offered through HOSA, attend the Fall Leadership Conference (FLC), compete at the Regional, State, and International Leadership Conferences (RLC, SLC, ILC) and take up leadership positions at a chapter, state, and national levels!
CREST Bioscience HOSA is directly connected with the CREST Bioscience Program; however, anyone in a CTE course is welcome to join! We encourage members to become active HOSA members and join either the community service or fundraising committee within our chapter, compete at RLC, SLC, ILC, and run for state and national office.
Competitions are a major part of HOSA. Members can compete in a wide variety of events, from medical terminology, biomedical debate, biotechnology laboratory science, and many more! To see the list of competitive events, please visit the Arizona HOSA website: https://www.azhosa.org/competitions.

Events on this calendar for community service are merely opportunities for students to attend with a parent/guardian.
If there is an official school sponsored event for Hosa members, there will be a permission slip and other information available.
For example, our Community Service Chair has found St. Jude's and other "walks" for members to attend, however, we are not officially participating as a chapter - only providing notification about an opportunity for our members to serve the community.
