IB

IB is designed for students who are motivated to become active and compassionate lifelong learners. This is a program for students who are interested in or may benefit from more challenging and engaging classes, serving the community, and opportunities to explore areas of personal interest.

Middle Years Program:

• 9th and 10th Grade

• Students enroll in honors and AP courses to build a strong academic foundation in preparation for entering DP

• In addition, students complete a Personal Project and 20 hours of community service

Diploma Program:

• 11th and 12th Grade

• Students enroll in rigorous IB courses geared toward college preparation and earning the IB Diploma, which includes completion of the following:

  • Passing six IB subject exams

  • Completing an Extended Essay

  • Completing 150 hours of Community Service (CAS)
