Welcome to second grade!  I am so excited to be your child's teacher! The second grade team and I are very excited about this school year.  We have many great units and activities planned that we know you are going to enjoy.

Here is a little information about me...I grew up in Danville, California (just outside of Berkeley).  I attended Arizona State University (Go Sun Devils!) where I completed my undergraduate and graduate studies in Communication and Elementary Education.  This will be my 19th year teaching, and my ninth year at Wildfire Elementary.  I have been married to my wonderful husband, Ryan, for 18 years.  We have two young boys, William (15) and Jax (11), who both attend PVSchools.  

When I am not planning curriculum for my second graders, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, cooking, doing yoga, going to the gym, working on home improvement projects, watching the Chicago White Sox, cheering for the ASU Sun Devils, going to movies with my family, watching musicals at the theater, and READING many books!
