MEET YOUR TEACHER

My name is Christianne Meneses Jacobs. I was born in Managua, Nicaragua. I have been teaching for 25 years. This is my  10th year at Shea Middle School. I have been married for 27 years to Marc Jacobs, and have two daughters: Isabelle (23) and Katherine (20). 

My family loves traveling. We have explored Mexico and Nicaragua. We also spent two months of a summer in Puerto Rico, living, exploring and soaking up the culture. It was an unbelievably amazing adventure. We also enjoy taking road trips. We have visited 38 states with a goal to visit all 50 states as soon as we can.

I graduated from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. I have a Master’s Degree in Education with a specialty in Curriculum and Instruction; and certifications in Spanish as a Foreign Language, Bilingual Education, Reading Specialist, and Early Childhood Education.
