General Questions About Camp:
Where do I drop my student off in the morning?
Drop off and pick up will both take place in the Senior (Greenway) parking lot. Students will walk in through the gate next to the auditorium and head towards the cafeteria.
When is check in and pick up?
Check in will begin at 8:30AM each morning and pick up will begin at 1PM
Does a parent need to sign at drop off or pick up?
No, no parent signature is necessary. There will be staff adults at check in each day to mark your student present. Only your student needs to come in.
Is lunch provided?
Yes, lunch is included in your sign up cost. Lunch will be provided each day around 12:30PM; however, your student can opt out and wait to have lunch with you instead. There are also gluten free options provided as well. We will have plastic water bottles throughout campus as well, but your student can certainly bring their own water bottle if desired.
Does our student need to bring a backpack?
No, but if your students want to bring their own lunch, extra snacks, or a water bottle they might want one. Please know that Husky 101 or Horizon is not responsible for any stolen or damaged items that your student brings.
What are they doing all day long each day?
Campers will be sorted into small groups led by older Horizon students. Each day we will follow the same schedule where we will spend time in the auditorium learning about Horizon, meeting with our small groups, playing games against other small groups, touring the campus, and much more. Campers will get to meet the administration team and have a Q&A with some teachers who they might have in class!
What if I need to pick up my student early from camp?
Please go to the front office and let one of the staff members know and they will contact a Husky 101 sponsor and locate your student.
Do I need my payment receipt?
No, you do not.Â
