Hello! 

Welcome to fourth grade! I am Mrs. Hanson, and I joined the PVCP community in January 2024. I hold a degree in Elementary Education with two minors—Teaching English Language Learners & Bible from Southwestern College (now called Arizona Christian University) where I graduated in 2008. I have previously taught overseas in Spain, locally at both charter and Christian schools, and of course my children when they were younger.

My AMAZING husband for over 16 years is James, and we have three kids - Joyful, “Little” James & Jesse who also attend PVCP. Our 80 lb black lab named "Boaz," completes our clan. We are part of CityView Church in Phoenix and enjoy spending time with our church family.

Outside the classroom, I help lead worship through piano and guitar, Financial Peace University, cheer my kids in their sports, craft, up-cycle & tackle miscellaneous home projects! I am a world traveler and missionary kid. With a diverse background, I am proud to be a Native “Native” Arizonan from the Tohono O'odham and Quechan tribes on my dad’s side mixed with a Hispanic and German heritage from my mother’s side.
