Meet Mrs. King

Hello and welcome!  

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to 3A for the 2025-2026 school year! I am looking forward to a wonderful year as we explore Biblical truths from Genesis to 2 Samuel, and learn about amazing people, places and events in U.S. History. We will delve into the intricacies of the scientific method,  plant and animal habitats, and weather patterns all orchestrated by our amazing Creator. We will discover some courageous friends in Charlotte's Web,  Stone Fox,  The Cricket in Times Square and others.  

I am a graduate of the University of Texas with a B.S. in Organizational Communications.  After an early business career, I stayed home to raise our three children as we journeyed from Texas to Italy, then to Canada, before settling in Scottsdale 15 years ago. Having long been passionate about classical education, and after serving as a substitute teacher at 3 Classical Christian Schools in the Valley, I joined Archway Scottsdale ten years ago as a full-time elementary teacher. Seven years ago, I taught Third Grade at Providence Christian School of Texas, and I am entering my seventh year here at PVCP. 

In our spare time, Bob and I enjoy mountain biking, paddle boarding, tennis, reading, traveling and spending time with our three adult children, Rebecca, Adam and Emily. We are blessed to call Scottsdale Bible our church home.
