Sadlier Oxford texts are utilized in 5th grade to provide a comprehensive grammar curriculum. The Scriptorium curriculum is used to supplement non-fiction and fiction writing samples.

Sadlier Oxford Grammar Units

Unit 1: Sentences

Unit 2: Nouns

Unit 3: Verbs

Unit 4: Adjectives, Adverbs, Conjunctions, and Prepositions

Unit 5: Pronouns

Unit 6: Capitalization, Puncutation, and Spelling

Mrs. Chelpka teaches Language/Grammar and Spelling to all 5th graders.

Mrs. Merrick teaches Reading to all 5th graders.
