Planting Our Seeds

Last week students had the opportunity to begin our Tower Garden planting process. They used various seeds (cilantro, basil, chard, lettuce and kale) and put them into rockwool. Students learned that you do not need dirt to make plants grow. We have our seeds beginning to bloom. Once they are about 2 inches tall we can place them into the Tower Garden and begin learning how plants grow using only water, light and nutrients.
