The week of February 19th we cooked our bok choy and tested our hands at making pizzas using the basil from the Tower Garden. The kids had a lot of fun making the pizzas and eating them! The students had to use measurement skills to measure their sauce and cheese. They also learned how to julienne chop their basil. Such a fun experience for all of us!
-Might I add, they were delicious!
February 2, 2018 We harvested a second time. We harvested Kale, Bok Choy, and Rainbow Chard. The students wanted to make smoothies with the kale. So we did! Our first harvest in the middle of January we had Bibb Lettuce, Gourmet Lettuce, Arugula, and Kale.
When we came back from Christmas Break, we had a nice surprise waiting! We planted them right before Thanksgiving Break. So after about 6 weeks this is what we found!
