Welcome Orchestra students and parents,
I am looking forward for another exciting school year of musical growth and building our Orchestra family! I started teaching in Pennsville in 2010. This position includes teaching the PMHS Orchestra, Strolling Strings and Small Ensemble Zero Periods, 6th grade Orchestra, middle school string lessons. I was the advisor to the PMHS Tri-M Music Honor Society Chapter #2019 from 2013-2024. During this school year, I will teach the 7th and 8th grade Orchestra as well. Outside of the classroom, my life-long learning continues when I play violin several times a year at my church and also as a member of the violin section the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey. I also love to play in the pit orchestra for musicals: I play for the HS musicals whenever needed and I have played in the pit for SpongeBob the Musical and The Sound of Music at the Levoy Theatre in Millville, NJ. I graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor's of Music Education, '02 and in 2015, I earned a Master's of Music degree from Rowan University. I live in Cherry Hill with my husband, son, and cat Tux.
