To earn full credit students must neatly show their work!

Cassady Math Course Description

Classwork is daily learning. Students receive instruction on the textbook lessons, as well as daily review and skill practice. A "Day Work" page is collected each day with the lesson and review practice. This page is a 10 point assignment. If a student is absent no make up is required.
Quizzes are given on Friday's and are a combination of homework problems and skill practice. Quizzes are 10 points
Homework is assigned Monday thru Thursday. The work is corrected by students online or in class the following day and should be completed in the math composition book. These are 10 point assignments. If a student is absent they ARE required to complete all homework assignments. It is important for students to complete ongoing practice so they feel confident with their efforts and learn.
Assessments are given at the end of each chapter. Students are given a study guide with answers to practice concepts for the test. Assessments are open note. Once the assessment is scored, it is returned to students for corrections. They can access help from any source to complete the corrections. Students will receive 1/2 point for every point missed.
Assessments = 60%
Classwork/Quizzes = 30%
Homework = 10%
