Emergency Food Cupboard

The Pures College Emergency Food Cupboard’s goal is to address food insecurity on campus by providing free, emergency grocery items to students in need.  

This is an emergency service. The goal is to ensure that all students using the Food Cupboard are treated with respect and that our food distribution is equitable and fair. At times we may have limited supplies but will do our best to accommodate student emergencies. 

Objectives:

·        To ensure students have food in their cupboards

·        Protect and maintain student confidentiality and privacy

·        Address hunger as a health and wellness issue

·        Accommodate different dietary and cultural needs (where possible)

Students in need can reach out to Student Services, by emailing ask@pures.ca to request assistance, and an emergency grocery bag may be prepared with selected items.
