FINANCE & FUNDRAISING

Student Life maintains financial accounts for all student organizations. RSOs are not allowed to own bank accounts outside of this internal account. Balances are available upon request from Student Life. 

Purchases made on behalf of student organizations must comply with acceptable expenditures policies, which can be found in the Student Organization Handbook. In order to be reimbursed, receipts and other appropriate documentation must be provided to Student Life.

All registered clubs and organizations are eligible to receive the proceeds from sales of apparel with their club logo in the Purdue Global school store. These proceeds will be deposited directly into their organization's account.

RSOs may also choose to fundraise toward pre-approved goals. These goals could include hosting an event, providing prizes for games, or charitable donations for external non-profits. 

Organizations that wish to raise funds must process the proceeds through Student Life. Organizations may fundraise by offering special, limited time products in the school store or by creating a campaign in DonorBox, an online donation portal. 

At the point that an organization is ready to raise funds, the Fundraiser Request Form must be submitted before it can begin.
