EXPECTATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Eligibility
Any full-time faculty or staff member is eligible to be a student organization advisor.
Expectations
Faculty/staff advisors are required to commit to a minimum of one year of service to the organization.
Advisors are also required to participate in meetings of the executive board to guide the officers as they plan for the group. The executive board is required to meet six times per year and to conduct full organization meetings no less than quarterly. Advisors are highly encouraged to attend full organization meetings as well.
Student Life relies upon communication from the executive boards and advisors to support organizations. It is expected that advisors will keep open channels of communication, and in turn, they may expect support and advisement from Student Life when necessary.
