Center for Teaching and Learning

The Center for Teaching and Learning provides a wealth of professional development opportunities for faculty and staff. One opportunity is the Meditation Series held each Monday at 12:00 pm ET.

CTL Live Events: Meditation Series

Kathy Bishop, School of Health Sciences professor, will lead the group in a guided meditation. These sessions are for all levels and will help foster self-care so you can better serve your family and your students. The CTL will document 15 minutes of professional development for each session.

Session Outcome: Develop a consistent meditation practice for enhanced resilience, compassion, and empathy to increase focus, reduce stress, and build positive relationships with colleagues and students.

Each week we will meditate on a different affirmation topic. Should you have an idea or request for a topic, please email ctllive@purdueglobal.edu

Student Organization Involvement

The following graph includes important data points. If there is additional information or data that you would like to receive, please notify the Office of Student Life at studentlife@purdueglobal.edu

Data Explanation: Since 2018, PG Student Life has been able to better and support our students. Their engagement has increased yearly.

Data Explanation: Unique student count is the number of individual students who are involved in an organization at Purdue University Global. Involvement Touch Points are the number of memberships in student organizations. Therefore, this number reflects students who may be involved in multiple organizations. These numbers are calculated from the average of the months in quarters 1-4. For example, quarter 1 is the average of January- March membership total.

Data Explanation: Involvement Touch Points based on which school the student is enrolled are in blue.  Involvement Touch Points based on which school the organization ‘belongs’ to (i.e. the school the faculty advisor works for) are orange. These numbers will reflect students who may be involved in multiple organizations. This data reflects involvement in December 2020.
