Register to Attend
Registration is now open for Purdue Global Village, the virtual higher education conference designed and delivered by the Center for Teaching and Learning for students, alumni, faculty, administrators, and staff.
The 2023 Purdue Global Village conference will be held using the Zoom Events* platform.
Purdue Global employees are encouraged to use their Purdue Global Zoom account for registration.
All other guests may use an existing Zoom account or register by email to attend.
Zoom Events Information and Resources
We recommend you use the Google Chrome browser to participate in the sessions for the best experience.
Registration Instructions
Access the event registration page and select your registration preference (with a Zoom Account or with Email) and follow the directions below.
Purdue Global employees are encouraged to register using their Purdue Global Zoom account.
Sign in to your Zoom Account. Recommended options include:
Use the sign-in with Google option.
Sign in with your Zoom Account email address and password.
Set up a free Zoom account if needed.
*Purdue Global employees are encouraged to use their Purdue Global Zoom account and to select the sign-in with Google option. If that option does not work, you can enter your Purdue Global email address and choose the forgot password link to set up a separate password for Zoom.
If you do not have a Purdue Global Zoom account, please complete the Zoom User Account Request form.
You may be prompted to enter a verification code after signing in to your Zoom account.
Please follow the instructions to locate the code sent to your email and enter it here to verify your account access.
Complete the registration questions and confirm your conference registration.
Once your registration is complete, you will be able to:
Add the event to your calendar
Edit your profile
View your ticket or return to the event page
Edit Your Events Profile
You are invited to complete your Events profile. You can choose to share your profile during the conference to network with presenters and attendees.
Profile Basic Information includes name, pronouns, position, organization, etc.
Profile Photos and Videos include space to add a profile image or other media.
Profile Personal Questions provide space to answer a few optional questions to let others know more about you.
Profile Social Media provides space to share various social media links so others may connect with you beyond the conference.
View Your Event Ticket
After registering to attend, you can view your event ticket from the Zoom events website.
On the Upcoming tab, you will see your Purdue Global Village ticket.
Your event ticket provides general information and resources including:
Option to add the event to your calendar
A count down to when the event lobby will open
Resources to help you get ready to participate in the conference using the Zoom events platform
View The Event Page and Lobby
Once the Conference Lobby opens, from the event page, you will see the option to Join Lobby.
Please note this option is only for those who have registered and signed in. If you have not yet registered or signed in, you will see a registration link on the event page. The option to sign in will be at the top right of the page.
The conference lobby will provide access to:
Sessions: a listing of all presentations in date/time order
Itinerary: your personal conference itinerary built from bookmarking sessions on the sessions page
Speakers: a listing of conference presenters along with their presentations
People: a networking space listing all attendees and speakers who have opted to share their profile at the event
Lobby Chat: an event chat space to ask questions and connect with other attendees during the conference
