Purdue Global Advances in Military Times’ 2023 Best for Vets Rankings

Thanks to innovation and continued commitment to serving military-affiliated students, Purdue Global was No. 8 overall nationally among primarily online universities in the Military Times’ 2023 Best for Vets rankings. Military Times produces the largest and most comprehensive annual rankings of colleges for veterans and military-affiliated students.

The Military Times surveys colleges and universities across the nation each year. The results are analyzed and, along with public data about colleges and universities obtained from the departments of Education and Veterans Affairs, are used to create the rankings. Student success metrics (completion, retention, persistence, GPA, and graduation) are the most important factors in determining schools’ relative rankings, followed closely by the range of military-specific resources, level of financial support offered, policies and campus culture. Salesforce MFA Update

Beginning December 5, there will be a change in how Salesforce users log into Salesforce. In alignment with a new contractual requirement, all customers and users must implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to access Salesforce products. This security enhancement adds an extra layer of protection, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorized individuals gaining access to sensitive information or systems.

Approximately 264 Salesforce users within our organization will be directly affected by this change. Today, users access Salesforce via a tile in OneLogin but do not have to complete MFA. However, beginning December 5, users accessing the tile will be prompted to authenticate through DUO. No additional steps are required for those who already have DUO set up for OneLogin. While we anticipate a smooth transition for Salesforce users, it’s important to note that this change introduces an additional step in the login process. To help you navigate through this, we have included a video demonstrating the authentication process.

For those who need to set up DUO, please refer to the instructions for completing the setup. If you do not currently have DUO, you will be prompted to set it up when accessing the tile in OneLogin.

If you have any questions or encounter issues with the MFA implementation, please contact the IT Service Desk at 1-855-892-7396.
