Topic: Choose a topic in the field of Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Fire Science, Homeland Security, Public Administration, or Legal Studies.

Provide a short synopsis of your manuscript:

(1) Introduction: Provide background on the topic. 

(2) Literature Review (2 paragraphs): Discuss what scholars are saying about the topic. 

(3) Approach: Discuss the method you will use to complete your manuscript and how it will add to the body of knowledge. Will you collect and analyze data? Will you use scholarly literature? How will your manuscript add to the body of knowledge and the field?

Length: 250 words double space in Times New Roman format (not including references or title page) that is scholarly reviewed from the library database that is within 5 years. Only one reference can be more than a five-year date.

Note: You can redevelop a previously used paper from a college classroom with your instructor's permission. As you consider using a previous paper, it must align with the requirements outlined in the submission guidelines.
