Compact Presentation

This type of presentation is 20 minutes total (15 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes for discussion OR 5 minutes for presentation + 15 minutes for discussion ) and is recommended for individual presenters or pairs of presenters offering a succinct delivery. The presenter guides the session and should deliver material appropriate for the session length. This presentation type is ideal for developing ideas or micro-learnings with a burst of discussion.

Standard Presentation

This type of presentation is 50 minutes total (40 minutes for presentation + 10 minutes for questions OR 20 minutes for presentation + 30 minutes audience participation through interactivity/discussion/questions) and is recommended for individuals with more in-depth materials to present, or for group presentations. The presenter guides the session and should deliver material appropriate for the session length. For group presentations, please ensure that the number of presenters is appropriate to the session length.

Special Focus Lightning Session

Presenters will give a live 5-minute PowerPoint presentation composed of 20 images (please, nothing but a single image on each slide). Each image is displayed for 15 seconds and will be accompanied by a narrative (with a maximum of two presenters per session). Slides will be advanced by the session host every 15 seconds, and approximately 1 minute 40 seconds will be available at the end of each presentation for questions. Lightning sessions can include (but are not limited to) sharing of experience, grounded ideas, and/or innovations. Research findings and references do not have to be included—the presenter imparts information through the authority of their knowledge and experience.

*Some proposals may be accepted for a different type of session than requested by the presenter. Confirmation of session type will be indicated in the acceptance letter.
