The General Education Conference offers higher education professionals the opportunity to discuss and learn about the importance of general education for students across the university. The conference focuses on the mission of the School of Multidisciplinary and Professional Studies and supports areas of knowledge that comprise students' educational foundation.
Since 2009, the School of Multidisciplinary and Professional Studies has hosted an annual conference during which faculty and staff share best practices, research, discipline-specific information, and more. Having grown dramatically since inception, organizers are expecting nearly 100 session submissions and approximately 500 participants for the 2025 conference.
