February

Black History Month

Since 1976, every American president has designated February as Black History Month. The Black History Month theme for this year is, “African Americans and the Arts” and explores the influence African Americans have had in visual and performing arts, literature, fashion, folklore, language, film, music, architecture, culinary and other forms of expression.
