COVID-19: The opportunity to gather safely in-person is a top priority

All participants at the Pulitzer Center June 2022 Climate Conference and at Pulitzer Center-organized in-person events must produce proof of vaccination against COVID-19 , along with a government -issued photo ID. Masks will be mandatory, unless outdoors or while actively eating/drinking indoors. Panelists may remove their masks while speaking. More information on acceptable forms of proof of vaccination and identification can be found on the Press Club website.

We ask that all participants check their health insurance for travel, so that they have the coverage they need for COVID-19 or other contingencies while in the U.S.. They also should check before departure to the Climate Conference what requirements are necessary for arrival into the U.S. and for their return home related to COVID-19. While we cannot provide direct insurance coverage or investigate each country’s requirements, we may be able to offer guidance based on what knowledge we have learned via colleagues.
