The scores appear in increments of 100. Each 100 represents the grade level your student is scoring at during practice assignments and from the diagnostic data. For example: If IXL indicates your child is reading at a 920 and they are in 10th grade it means their skills are currently showing to be within the early 9th grade skill level. This would be below grade level for the student but no worries students that do assigned practice and recommended skills can bring up their skill level to grade level and even above. It just takes practice! If you have questions about your child's skill level please contact their math and/or english teacher for more details concerning their skill level.
