1.1. Independent jury members will judge the competition.
1.2. The judging criteria for written and video recorded stories are listed in tables 3 and 4.
1.1. Each contestant will receive a certificate of participation.
1.2. Requests for re-issue of a lost or damaged certificate will be handled on a case-by- case basis.
1.3. No replacement will be made for the lost or damaged trophy after collection at the Award Presentation Ceremony.
1.4. Before announcement of results, no one (including participants, teachers, and parents) is permitted to approach any jury members.
1.5. Anyone violating the rule 1.4. or above will be disqualified for joining the competition and neither marks nor certificate will be awarded to him/her.
1.6. Participating students must arrange their own travel and transport to and from the Award Presentation Ceremony of the competition venue. Limited parking spaces will be offered.
1.7. Seating priority will always be given to participating students, their parents and their school teachers.
1.8. Participants and audience attending the Award Presentation Ceremony of the competition must take care of their personal belongings. PYSS will not be responsible for any loss.
1.9. PYSS reserves the right to claim compensation from those who damage any venue facilities.
1.1. All important dates related to the competition are uploaded on the Pui Ying Secondary School website. PYSS reserves the right to make amendments to the dates / time / venues as deemed necessary or expedient to the competition. Any alteration will be duly posted on the Pui Ying Secondary School website. The most updated version posted on the Pui Ying Secondary School website will override the previous ones.
1.2. All personal data collected by PYSS is for the sole purpose of running the competition and confirming qualification of participants.
1.3. PYSS reserves the right to use the videos of participants and use them in any way deemed appropriate by PYSS, including but not limited to promotional uses in any media. Participants and parents should contact their schools directly should there be any concerns.
1.4. Decisions of PYSS on all matters arising from administrative issues and the competition, including interpretation of its rules and regulations, shall be final.
1.5. All complaints and suggestions regarding the competition must be addressed to PYSS through schools by email to storytelling@puiying.edu.hk. Individual complaints will not be entertained or followed up.
1.6. In cases where PYSS anticipates that the live Award Presentation Ceremony is impossible, unsafe or unrealistic, or in case of class suspension ordered by the Education Bureau, PYSS reserves the right to alter the date, time and format of the ceremony. In this case, PYSS is without any liability for compensation.
1.7. Anyone suffering from an epidemic must not attend the ceremony.
