In the Christian tradition Christmas is internationally celebrated. Christians believe Jesus is the son of god and the name ''Christmas" represents the birth of Jesus.
Some other reasons that people may celebrate Christmas is Jesus Christ is more than a Christian holiday or Christian festival. It's more than when people just put up a tree or just decorate their houses; it is an opportunity to stop and take a break and pause to give thanks to the love. Some things that people might do to celebrate Christmas is sing Christmas carols, put up a Christmas tree and make cookies the night before. Some of our favorite Christmas traditions is always listening to Christmas music while putting up a Christmas tree.
Santa Claus is said to live in the North Pole with his wife Mrs. Claus, where he spends the year making toys to help his elves. He receives letters from children often stating what they would like for Christmas. On Christmas Eve, he loads his sleigh with toys and flies around the world to deliver them, the sleigh is drawn by 8 reindeers. Stopping at each child's house, he slides down the chimney and leaves the gifts, and drinks the milk and cookies provided for him by the children in the household.
