The purpose of the flyer approval process is to ensure that materials distributed through the district:
Support student learning, safety, and well-being
Are appropriate for school audiences
Comply with district policies and legal requirements
Maintain consistency in district communication
2. Types of Flyers Allowed
Flyers may be approved for distribution if they fall into one of the following categories:
District-Sponsored
School programs
Athletics
Clubs and student activities
Academic opportunities
District events
School-Related Partner Organizations
Parent organizations (PTA/PTO/Boosters)
Education foundations
Approved school partnerships
Community Programs (Limited Approval)
Youth sports leagues
Educational camps
Non-profit youth programs
Community events benefiting students
Note: Approval does not constitute District endorsement.
Flyers will not be approved if they include:
Commercial advertising or for-profit business promotions
Political campaign materials
Religious recruitment or proselytizing
Content inappropriate for minors
Messaging that conflicts with district policies or the educational mission
Fundraising not affiliated with district-approved groups
