Prerequisite- Each Art/Drama Class must be passed with a "C" or above to move onto the next level.


Art 1, 2, Advanced, and Drama 1 &2 :

One highlight of the course is: You can earn a good grade if you are willing to practice! No homework!

This course is great for a student who: Wants to engage their senses in a different way during the school day.

One thing you should know about this course is: You need one of these to graduate, but students generally take additional levels because they really enjoy my classes!


Leadership

Leadership (8230P)

Leadership students plan high school rallies, homecoming, prom, and spirit events. Leadership is a required class for any student body officers, such as president, treasurer, etc.

Yearbook

Yearbook:

One highlight of the course is: seeing your labor when the yearbook arrives in May and you know you helped create it.

This course is great for a student who: wants to learn the basics of 

desktop publishing and designing pages while creating a document that will be a part of this high school for many years.

One thing you should know about this course is: very hands-on and you (with others) will be able to create a finished project to be proud of. This is a student-created book.



Photography

Digital Photography

One highlight of the course is: you will get a chance to take some amazing pictures that you will be proud of and create a portfolio of  all your work.

This course is great for a student who: wants to learn how to take better photos with their cameras and also learn how to edit and change their photos to make them different and sometimes even better.

One thing you should know about this course is: you will take many photos focusing weekly on different projects. You will have quite an extensive portfolio of photos when the course is complete.  Great for your resume of quality projects.


Life Skills for Wellness

Life Skills (8020) This class is "in person" class and students earn 2 Sierra College Business credits.

Advanced Weight Training

Adv. Weight Training (2946): Prerequisite-PE 9, PE 10, and/or teacher approval. Students can take this class again for credit.

PE Training

Training Fall (2915); Spring (2917)

This course is optimal for athletes who are required to leave school during 5th block due to athletic events. 

The focus will be: athletic conditioning, sportsmanship, character development, and academic support.
