As explained on PUHSD's district website, our Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a required component of the new funding formula introduced in California's 2013-14 Budget Act.
Under the new Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), California funds school districts per student with adjustments based on grade level and demographic characteristics.
The District's LCAP is effective for three years with annual updates. It was written and developed with input from community stakeholder group-staff, parents, students and local community members and outlines 3 main goals (each containing specific actions) through which we prioritize our funding.
