While maintaining foundational STEM and environmental science modules as supporting components, the program places greater emphasis on global issues, transnational industries, and cultural resources in the Seattle region. Students engage with real-world contexts to better understand the interconnectedness of technology, business, culture, and sustainability.
Program Highlights:
Global Issue–Based Learning
Focused Onsite Visits: Microsoft (High-Tech Innovation); Starbucks (Multinational Business & Business Models); Chihuly Glass Museum (International Art & Cultural Exchange); Mount Rainier (Environmental Science & Field Research)
Hands-on Learning & Field Observation
Campus Living and English-Language Cross-Cultural Experience
STEM & Environmental Science Lab Activities (Supporting Module)
Our goal is to not only provide high-quality academic instruction but also offer opportunities for experiential learning and cultural exchange.
