About the Dean Office
Warm Welcome to the Office of the Dean (Academic Courses), Puducherry Technological University.
This office is responsible for framing the Academic Regulations, Curriculum, Academic Calendar and managing the overall academic activities of Puducherry Technological University and its Constituent/ Affiliated Colleges.

PREAMBLE
The University has 9 Engineering Departments, 1 Management Department and has 4 allied science and Humanities Departments offering Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral study programmes. The highly qualified and experienced faculty is one of the most significant features of all these departments. It is resourceful in terms of infrastructure and state-of- the-art facilities to pursue studies and research in the niche areas of the domain. It has been producing globally competitive engineering graduates. The departments are responsible for academic activities like teaching, research and industry consultancy activities. The curricula and syllabi are flexibly tuned in response to the societal and industry needs.
The teaching learning process is good enough to build a strong foundation of domain knowledge and practical skill sets. Apart from the academic routine, the students are as well made to participate in other related activities like alumni talks, tech talks, conferences/ seminars etc., organized by faculty members in the contemporary and niche domains of the respective engineering areas. These activities serves to instill creativity, improve confidence and promote innovation among its students.
