insmach invitation_new.pdfAbout InSMACH-25 : Machine Learning (ML), with its capability to capture meaningful information from voluminous data, is emerging as a powerful decision making tool to enhance productivity and sustainability in industrial sector. In particular, ML is seen to play a crucial role in Process Industries in getting deeper insight into the plant conditions and in improving the quality of operation. Thrust areas of current interest to chemical industry in ML include Predictive Maintenance, Digital Twin and Soft Sensing. This International Seminar InSMACH-25 aims to provide a platform for the participants from industry, academia and research community to get a significant overview of the potential areas for industrial applications of ML algorithms.
The Seminar will cover:
a) A Series of Lectures by eminent speakers (listed below) who will share with the audience their own expertise of applying ML in industrial problems
