The Department of Chemical Engineering of PTU, which was established in the year 1998, has completed twenty five years of its proud service in producing graduates who occupy very coveted position in academia and industry across the globe. The department, bestowed with excellent infrastructure and a team of highly qualified faculty, has etched a name for itself as one of the best chemical engineering departments in the country. To commemorate this remarkable achievement and milestone, the department, with an overwhelming support from its alumni, has taken initiative to celebrate its Silver Jubilee by organizing a number of memorable events. Some of the ace events are i) TALKS25 - a series of Twenty Five Lectures delivered by eminent speakers from Chemical and Allied Engineering discipline and ii) InSMACH 25 - an International Seminar on application of Machine Learning algorithms in Chemical Engineering, covering lectures by eminent international speakers .
