Senior Internship Program

2021-2022 Pilot Program

The Parsippany-Troy Hills School District is excited to announce a new Senior Internship Pilot Program for the 2021-2022 school year, which will allow select students in good standing to obtain an off-site internship for approximately the last four weeks of the school year. This program is designed to allow students to gain valuable work experience and insight into a career field of interest and make invaluable networking connections. This year's pilot program will be capped at approximately 25 students at each high school.

Benefits of an Internship

The invaluable hands-on work experience you'll receive as an intern can't be obtained in a classroom setting. As an intern you have the opportunity to apply acquired knowledge to real world work experiences, witnessing firsthand the day-to-day job duties that can be expected within a particular career field. In addition, transferable skills such as communication, teamwork and computer software proficiency are also obtained, preparing interns to enter college or the workforce upon graduation.
