Students at PHHS have many opportunities to participate in extra-curricular music activities from clubs, to sports, to performing groups to our Tri-M Music Honor Society.

Honor Society

Tri-M Music Honor Society: a national music honor society open to grades 11 and 12. Accepted students graduate from PHHS with honors in music! Must be enrolled in 4 years of a music performance class at PHHS, as well as character, GPA and point requirements.

INSTRUMENTAL Clubs & Extracurricular Ensembles

Piano & Strings Club: For people who play or are interested in piano and/or all string instruments! 

Jazz Band:

Pit Orchestra: This instrumental ensemble performs for the Spring

Chamber Ensembles: These groups for Woodwinds, Brass and Percussion perform at our Jazz & Small Ensembles Concert. 

Performing Arts based SPORTS

Marching Band: varsity sport that performs at PHHS football games and competes in NJMBDA. Marches in the Memorial Day Parade. Winds, Brass, Percussion, and Color Guard.

Winter Color Guard: winter sport that ompetes in MAIN.
