The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) provides public funding for services that assist New Jersey adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, age 21 and older, to live as independently as possible. Services are available in the community and in five state-run developmental centers.
It means that your child can benefit from services in NJ such as Camp, Day Programs, Supported Employment and Supported Housing then you need to apply.
Your child needs to be Medicaid eligible to receive services through DDD.
