In this session you are going to be learning all about mindfulness and what it is. You will also be learning a few different techniques that you can use anyway to rest your mind and body.

Task Description: Did you know reading the back of a packet can tell you a lot about what is in your food? In this session we will be learning all about sugars, proteins, carbohydrates and sodium and what types of foods we can find these in.
WALT: understand why it is important to read the labels and ingredients listed on the backs of the foods we buy.
Task Description: Ever wondered what makes your favourite snacks so yummy? Like reading a detective story, food labels can tell you a secret! They contain ingredients, like clues, showing exactly what's inside your food. Reading these clues is important because some ingredients, like sugar and salt, can be sneaky and hide in high amounts. By checking and understanding the labels, you become aware and ensure your snacks are packed with good stuff to keep you energized and healthier.
