Last week of Term 1. What better way to end it off by looking at the "Republic of Myanmar".

We will research and learn about their New Years called "Maha Thingyan" is one of the largest and most widely celebrated holidays in Myanmar. it use to be called Burma. Myanmar is the largest country in South East Asia that is not an island. It is also part of South Asia.

Week 9 - Science Week

There are so many things about our world that we don't know much about, but thanks to science, we are able to take a closer look at what these things are. Science can help us understand how these beautiful things operate, and also be a lot of fun. Come join us on our scientific journey this week, we have so many things to learn!

Last year our school theme was 'Cherish our Treasures' or 'Tiaki Taonga'. So what doesthis mean for today? What is a treasure? Well, a treasure could have different meanings for different people. Most people would think of the word ‘treasure’ as being something rare and valuable like finding a pirates treasure chest full of gold.
