Reflections 2025–2026: “I Belong!”

Ryan Elementary PTA is excited to launch our school’s first-ever participation in the National PTA Reflections Program — a celebration of student creativity and imagination!

Reflections invites Ryan students in Grades K–5 to explore the arts and express themselves through original works inspired by this year’s theme: “I Belong!”

Students may submit entries in one or more of the following categories:

● Dance Choreography

● Film Production

● Literature

● Music Composition

● Photography

● Visual Arts

Important Dates

● Entries Due: Wednesday, November 5, 2025

● School Recognition: December 2025

● Advancing Winners submitted to State: December 5, 2025

● Regional finalists announced: January 9, 2026

● Council turn-in for entries: January 23, 2026

● State Reflections Awards ceremony: March 8, 2026

● Participants celebrated at Ryan Art Night: April 2, 2026

● National winners announced: May 1, 2026

Recognition & Prizes

Every participant gets a certificate and recognition at school. All entries will be displayed at ArtNight in the spring.

Winners will receive additional prizes and recognition.

Winners advance to State, and possibly even National PTA!

How to Enter

1. Review the Reflections Entry Guidelines for your art category.

2. Explore and reflect on the theme: “I Belong” and express it through your art.

3. Complete the Student Entry Form (signed by student & parent/guardian). All entries must include a title and an artist statement (included on the entry form).

4. Submit your completed form and your artwork by email to reflections@ptaatryan.org

Note: For large file types (music, film, etc.), please submit using a shareable Google Drive or Dropbox link.
