How Parents can be involved in their child's development.
Communication
Parents may contact me through email or through the teacher’s REMIND. I will be available to meet with parents via a scheduled conference time, email or phone calls in a timely manner, generally at the end of the instructional day. (refer to pg. 39 of the Parent - Student Handbook).
Volunteering
PTAA encourages parents and family members to regularly visit the school and become involved in student activities. Parents can donate up to 1 hour of volunteer time. (refer to pg. 40 of the Parent - Student Handbook).
Learning at Home
Homework is a link between school and home that shows what children are studying and develops habits of mind and skills necessary for optimizing learning. Research supports that the most effective homework reflects short amount of time on assignments. (refer to pg. 18 of the Parent - Student Handbook).
Donation
I appreciate all parents and their trust they have put into me as their child's teacher this year. I am excited to implement a classroom treasure box to help reward your child for their hard work. This can be done by supporting my class amazon wish below.
