Due to there being 5 classes, days in ELA are going to look a little differently. Time is so crunched, so it is not always possible to cover every subject everyday. Each day will be a different focused skill/subject:
Monday: Daily Language Review, Anchor Chart, HMH Lesson
Tuesday: Daily Language Review, Anchor Chart, HMH Lesson
Wednesday: Daily Language Review and Writing Wednesday
Thursday: Daily Language Review and Small Groups/Centers/Novel Study
Friday: Spelling Test, Daily Language Review Test, Weekly HMH Quiz, Fun Friday**/Makeup Work
**If students are missing work from the week, they will NOT be able to participate in Fun Friday until the work is turned in**
