Mission Promotion is an 8th grade academic intervention group for 8th grade students with a progress report grade point average (GPA) between 1.3-1.8 with the goal of students achieving a 2.0 GPA for the grade reporting period for trimester. The goal of Mission Promotion is to get as many 8th graders to promotion.
Meets twice a week for 6 weeks during lunch
Kid-grit is a holistic developmental approach promoting the nourishment of a child’s intellect, emotion and intuition, along with the conditioning of his/her body through delicious nutrient-dense food, movement, breathing and other self-regulation tools
Meets once a week for 6 weeks after school on Wednesdays
Grades 7-8
PLUS* is a youth facilitated program that utilizes social leadership qualities to connect 6th grade students on campus. A diverse cross-section of student leaders facilitates a series of activities that create communication, connections, care, and community amongst a student body
Trainings and Meetings are scheduled throughout the school year

M-Power* strengthen self-esteem and self perception, promote awareness about how certain environments can affect self-esteem, promote resiliency and promote school community through school-wide events Students attend college and career field trip throughout the year
