You may have created great online lessons and activities but how are you going to get them out to your students? Here are 3 ways you can deliver online lessons

Google Classroom

Probably one of the easiest programs to use. It has a simple interface using a timeline format. Allows the creation and submission of assignments, announcements, and media.

Pros:

-Easy integration with Drive and Docs.

-Quickly deliver assignments, collect them, and grade them

Cons:

-Limited options compared to Learning Management Systems

-Difficult to present content visually compared to a website

-It may not be easy to find assignments when you assign a lot

Websites (Google Sites)

Websites offer a lot of visual customization and are great for organizing and delivering content. The new Google Sites is easy enough for students to use and create their own websites and digital portfolios

Pros:

-Great for delivering lessons in an organized and visual format

-A lot of customization and integration with Drive and Docs

Cons:

-Not great for collecting assignments

-Takes time to learn, create, and edit

Learning Management Systems

Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Pros:

-They offer a lot of options to deliver full online courses in one place

-Fairly easy to use and can integrate a lot of online programs and applications

-They have good discussion capabilities

Cons:

-Individual accounts offered to teachers for free but it has to be district bought for all school use

-Some options can only be done after buying by the district, like gradebook integration
