Shaoqing’s research focuses on advanced electronic devices involving superconductors, semiconductors, and ferroelectrics potentially useful for next-generation computing and memory technologies. His first project is on Josephson tunnel junctions that exhibit Josephson diode effect relevant for future quantum logic circuits. His second project is on conduction mechanisms in HZO-based ferroelectric tunnel junctions, targeting non-volatile memory applications.
