Submission of HET Proposals via Google Forms
Last updated on 05/15/2024 by Mike Eracleous
The only acceptable way to submit a proposal is via Google Forms. To do so, you have to be logged into a Google account (any Google account will do). If you have a personal account, you can use that or you can log into your PSU Google account. You will have to provide your PSU email address and you will get a receipt at that address at the end of the process.
Assuming that you are logged into a Google account (any account will do, including your personal account) you can call up the SUBMISSION FORM, fill it out, upload your PDF file, and submit it. The form will ask you to provide some basic information about the proposal and to upload a PDF file at the end. The email address requested is your PSU email address; you will get a receipt at that address when you submit a proposal. Do not forget to hit the Submit button at the bottom of the form.
If you wish to submit more than one proposal, you just have to repeat the above procedure as many times as needed. If you want to re-submit a proposal that you have already submitted, you have to repeat the procedure as if you were submitting a new form but enter the proposal file name of the original submission in the form and upload a new PDF file with the same name as the original submission. The handling of resubmissions by the TAC is somewhat tedious so please try to avoid resubmissions as much as possible. Re-submissions are subject to the same deadline as first-time submissions.
Please note that the form will stop accepting new entries/responses and (re-submissions) some time after the proposal deadline has passed. If you find that the form is still active after the deadline and you submit (or re-submit) a proposal, that proposal will be summarily rejected and not reviewed by the TAC. If you miss the deadline and find that the form is no longer active, please do not send your proposal by email because it will be quietly ignored.
